Vodka
All our vodka is served frozen, 'cause that's
how it should be!
The earliest written reference to vodka was from a Polish manuscript dating from
1405! It is therefore widely believed that Vodka originated from Poland. The
Polish word for Vodka is 'Wodka' & translates to Little Water. In Poland Commercial
distillation began at the end of the 16th century.
In 1823 Hartwing Kantorowicz
built a new modern distillery is Poznan, Poland. His Vodka was entered in to
a Nationwide Competition to find the best Vodka in Poland. The judging panel
proclaimed his Vodka as 'exquisite' and the winner of the best vodka in Poland!
Thrilled by the word used to describe his vodka, Hartwing decided to call it
Wyborowa [vee-bor-ova]. This translates as exquisite in English. Wyborowa has
won over 22 gold medals and other trophies at the world's most prestigious events,
thus we bring it to you as our house vodka!

Gin
The Dutch invented it, The English refined it, the New world glamorised it and we believe Millers have perfected it! Millers Westbourne strength won the Platinum award in the international review of spirits, scoring a huge 97 points, Millers reformed gin took the gold with 94 points!!
Whilst most London gins are blended with British spring waters, every drop of the distilled Millers is carefully drained and shipped to Iceland. The pure glacial waters are blended with the spirit to create a marriage of rare softness, clarity of taste and appearance.
It is also in Iceland where they add the last secret ingredient. Need we say
any more than it is the world's best gin voted for by the international review
of spirits!

Tequila
The cores of hundreds of Agave plants are baked in a sunken pit for a few days and then mashed with a horse-drawn grinding wheel. The mashed remains are put in a huge barrel with water to ferment, followed by distillation in clay or bronze tanks covered with dirt and heated logs. Steam then passes through ducts and the condensation yields Mezcal!
The worms in Mezcal actually live in the Agave plant and are hand-harvested during the rainy summer season; a reminder that they come from the actual plant from which the alcohol is made!
In contrast, Tequila is created using the sweet juice extracted from the baked cores by steaming and compressing them. The juice is fermented for several days and then distilled at low proof before double or even triple distillation.
Reserva de la Familia is a rich blend of smooth mellow flavours. It
is 100% Blue Agave Anejo Tequila made from hand-selected Agave that are carefully
cultivated for dozens of years. This one isn't made for slamming!
