Exeter's most vibrant bar and live music venue
Based in the heart of Devon's capital, Exeter, the Amber Rooms is a vibrant, independent bar and an exciting part of the city's entertainment and nightlife. We are one of Exeter’s premiere late licence venues that caters for all types of people and occasions.
Pop by in the afternoon to enjoy some of our Amber ambiance: lounge on our leather sofas and enjoy a cup of fresh organic coffee or a cup of tea. We have free Wi-Fi available in the bar for all our customers to use. Be sure to check out the delicious Amber Pizzas which are prepared to your liking using fresh ingredients and served until 12am.
Alternatively stop by after the sun goes down for an altogether different but equally satisfying experience: low lights, candles and eclectic tunes make for a simmering atmosphere unique to the Amber Rooms.
We are proud to boast a range of lagers, ales and ciders both by the bottle and on draught, along with a wide selection of spirits and wines and of course our legendary cocktail list, prepared before your very eyes by our friendly and professionally trained staff. Promotional offers run from Sunday to Thursday, when all of the cocktails on our menu cost only £3.95.
We often put on live music events and our stage has played host to guests including DJ Format, Bez and his band ‘Domino Bones’, Jurassic 5's 'Akil the MC', Finlay Quaye and the blues legend that is Louisiana Red. Upstairs is the Amber Club and our VIP Bar which are available to hire for parties, functions, student socials, corporate events, workshops, market research and staff training days.
